Semester 2 classes begin on February 3. With the exception of RRTVA Carpentry classes, which begin on February 4th.
Language Challenge Exams - for second semester will be written in Winnipeg April 7 - April 9th. Interested students should stop by Guidance to pick up an application form ASAP. The deadline for application form and payment to be submitted is Thursday, January 29. There will be no extensions to this deadline.
Varsity boys basketball practice will be Thursday at 3:30.

One Stop Grad Shop: Grads, mark your calendars for Feb 9-13. During that week we'll be having our One Stop Grad Shop during lunch in the commons.
-Sign up for your banquet and after grad tickets
-Tell us who you'd like to sit with at the banquet
-Sign up for a grad gown
-Make an appointment for your grad pictures
-Get your grad ad in the yearbook (bring your pictures and write up along)
-Buy a grad ring

Booth University College is offering two "Discovery Days" at their institution:
1. Social Work Discovery Day - February 27, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to discover what Social Work is and understand the roles performed by Social Workers. You'll explore real life cases that Social workers deal with every day, uncover what you can do with a Booth UC Social Work degree, and have the opportunity to hear from current students and professors.
2. Explore a Future in Business morning - Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m
For Grade 11 and Grade 12 students who are interested in business to visit Petersen Hall (BRAND NEW BUSINESS LEARNING CENTRE) to: Learn about entrepreneurship including a virtual business simulation, experience being a BBA student, discover how they can earn HUGE Financial Award, learn what they can do with a Booth UC Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and be some of the very first students to get a tour of Petersen Hall before the Grand Opening in April!
For a customized tour, simply contact Booth University and they will work with you to create a tour specially designed for you!
If you or someone you know may need financial assistance for purchasing a graduation gown this year, the GOWNS for GRADS Program will be available to help. In late April, GOWNS for GRADS invites students to Winnipeg to find the perfect gown from an assortment of hundreds of donated gowns. To be eligible for this program students must be pre-registered. Please come to the Guidance area and speak to Mrs. Thiessen, Mrs. Apperley, or Mr. Siler for more details.
